Set in the 1790s, Love and Friendship is a witty dramatisation of Jane Austin's "Lady Susan".  Beautiful widow Lady Susan Vernon, has come to the estate of her in-laws to wait out colourful rumours about her dalliances circulating through polite society.  Whilst there, she decides to secure a husband for herself and her rather reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica.

This is the costume drama for 2016 and will appeal to all you Jane Austin fans, along with anyone who loves a little historic romantic intrigue in frilly frocks and breeches.
